New Church Starts
The Trinity Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church has funds to assist church starts. Our intention is to make this a straightforward procedure that provides benefit for church starts while maintaining integrity of process for the Annual Conference. We recommend the involvement of the area presiding elder and the new church starts committee.
The Trinity Conference Church Planting Proposal Form requests information regarding the health and planning of the church start ministry. We aim to direct the funds for a specific ministry or need and desire to understand that ministry’s needs.
The Grant sizes will be targeted between $10,000 and $30,000 and can be used for start-up budget items (staffing, rent, equipment, advertising, etc.), but should not be used to cover the primary pastor’s costs.
After the form is completed and submitted, the New Church Starts committee will convene and process your request. They will ask for further information if necessary and respond to your request in a timely manner. They schedule monthly meetings.
